Marie’s Mission by the Numbers
October was another great month for Marie’s Mission. On Saturday October 20th, the Mission distributed a record 120 Packages of diapers and wipes to 70 families! We had five new families join us this month We also gave out lots of diaper cream.
Thanks to the efforts of our many volunteers particularly Bill and Julie Burgoyne, Mary Kalmanovitch, Jane Leary and Ron Motta the hall was ready for us. Sarah Galvin and Louise Motta (with help from the Galvin boys Tom and James and the papa Ron) moved the diapers shelving and bins from the church to the hall. As always Jane Leary was there Saturday to handle the distribution.
We also distributed costumes for Halloween we had many knight, pirates, princesses, and fairies and even a few Princess pirates.
What we Need
Our biggest demand is for sizes four (4), five (5) and six (6) with each averaging over 20 packages per month. In October we distributed 29 packages of size 6 diapers. 4T-5T pull-up’s, both boys and girls continue to be very popular.

We had our first thanksgiving church following the mission distribution offering lunch, music, and prayers to our workers, parishioners and any of our guests who would like to join us.
At our next distribution on Saturday November 17, 2018we will be offering small thanksgiving starter kits to our guests to help ease the burden of providing a large holiday meal for their family.
